for PEDC's 4th Annual Educator Diversity Summit!
The purpose of the Pennsylvania Educator Diversity Consortium Summit is to engage members and invested partners in critical conversations about the future of educator diversity in Pennsylvania and identify actions needed to increase the number of ethnically, linguistically, racially, and culturally relevant and sustaining educators and education systems in Pennsylvania.
PEDC 2022 Summit aims to convene invested partners to Disrupt, Reimagine, and Mobilize, calling for action based on these key questions…
Disrupt. How can we explore, identify, and amplify what works in dismantling inequitable and unjust systems that hinder access, opportunity, and success for every learner and educator in Pennsylvania?
Reimagine. How can we envision, create, pilot, and scale new and innovative approaches that support an anti-racist education system where every educator in Pennsylvania is culturally relevant and sustaining, valued, respected, and embraced?
Mobilize. How can we mobilize collaboration across sectors for systems change to explore strategies, tools, and actionable steps needed to move the work forward?
